Sump Pump Failure Causes Extensive Water Damage in Hacks Point

SERVPRO of Cecil County visited a home in Hacks Point after a sump pump failure caused inches of water to make their way into this basement.  This was an extensive mitigation job for our water restoration team.  It took hours to remove the large pool of collected water from the affected areas.  We also placed our advanced drying equipment for three days to ensure all signs of water damage were eliminated.  This also prevents further water damage and mold growth.

There was a large amount of affected content as well.  While most of this content was too damaged to be restored, we offer a Document Drying method where documents and other damaged content can often be completely restored after fire or water damage.
